Established an end-to-end block and slab management system. The journey - from inward of a block, cutting into slabs, polish and other processes on the slab to the sales of these imported stones. The system also included Android App for quickly viewing finished products by scanning a QR Code.

The system worked on roles and team based access for each CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) process. This enabled setting dynamic new teams or updating access of the existing team completely without any tech intervention. Every user role has a different dashboard in order to get holistic and detailed insights as required.

End-to-end Block and Slab Management

Inward Entry – Adding multiple blocks in the as they arrive from a supplier with complete inward entries such as weight, dimensions, material, quarry, colour, country and auto-generated data from the above entries..

Inward Difference Matrix

Setting the difference in the weight and dimensions (Lenght, Height and Width) as mentioned by supplier in Bill of Lading vs actual received and showcasing the difference for appropriate actions by the purchase department.

Supplier Records

Linking the inward entries in supplier records and notifying concerned team members for further operation processes.

End to end tracking of each block inward and outward.

In order to track complete journey of a block, there were various points where data gathering was required, however, since Heritage Marbles wanted minimum manual efforts, we changed the data architecture to get automated updates, which reduced the manual efforts by 60%

Importing legacy system data in the new system.

Importing the data from legacy system was must to make sure all the information was available from Day One. With daily updates and minimal downtime, we generated automated scripts to sync the data every night.

Enhanced and exportable reports for different use cases.

In Heritage Marbles, each department and user has defined needs of the data and analysis. In order to achieve this, we interviewed, multiple departments and users to understand their detailed requirements and setup multiple reports in multiple formats to cater to all the needs.
